Sakura Photo Tours - Shidarezakura - Weeping Cherry Blossoms

Of all the sakura available for viewing and photography on Cherry Blossom Photo Tours, the shidarezakura, or weeping cherry blossom trees are the most immersive.  Due to the nature of the long, sweeping branches, the weeping sakura trees create natural tunnels which give you the perspective of a pink petal corridor as you walk.  Your Japan Dreamscapes Photo Workshop Leaders have spent more than 20 years capturing the different varieties of cherry blossoms, the most prevalent Somei Yoshino, the wild Yamazakura, and the Shidarezakura among others.  Due to their experience, if you want a weeping cherry blossom filled photo adventure, our Cherry Blossom Photo Workshop leaders can organize that for you.

A location in particular, one of our tour leader’s favorites, has nearly a kilometer of uninterrupted sakura tunnels for you to enter a cherry blossom dreamscape where everything in your view is the pink-petaled sakura blossoms.  Yet sometimes chasing the light means letting the light fade so you can enjoy spot illumination as the weeping cherry blossom trees glow in the light and become something akin to dusky, pink clouds ferrying in a dimension seemingly constituted exclusively of sakura.
