JDS’s Top Japan photography tour/workshop leaders have nearly 30 years experience leading Japan photography expeditions throughout Japan.  Most of our team prefers to avoid tourist pollution and stay off the beaten path, but we have a couple of Tokyoites on staff who love street photography and being in the middle of a metropolis with the glittering neon lights.  JDS Tours are tuned to a visiting photographer desiring the authentic Japan dreamscape photo adventure of a lifetime.  All our photo workshops and tours are more expedition oriented, similar to National Geographic, which several of our photographers used to work with and generally last 2 days - 2 weeks; we also offer private photography workshops and tours, and we also do commercial gigs and work with renowned photographers and agencies globally.Blain Harasymiw's
